The Carrier TMS Portal is your all-in-one platform for searching loads, booking freight, bidding on contract lanes, and managing shipments. Here’s a breakdown of how to navigate through the key features and tabs.

How to Navigate the HOME Tab

When you first log in to the Emerge Carrier Portal, you'll land on the HOME tab, which serves as the central hub for accessing all platform functionalities.

Key Sections of the Home Page:

  • Upper Left-Hand Side:

    • HOME: Where you can access all features.

    • SOURCE: Find and bid on Spot Opportunities, Contract Lanes, and view past bids.

    • MANAGE: Accept tenders, manage current loads, and view past loads.

    • LANES: Set up Lane Alerts and get notified when specific lanes are available.

    • NETWORK SHIPPERS: View the contact info of your network shippers.

  • Bottom Left Corner:

    • Chat Icon: Reach out directly to your Network Shippers.

    • Gear Icon: Manage your carrier profile and settings.

    • Profile Icon: Sign out of the portal.

  • Bottom Right Corner:

    • Chat Bubble: Contact Emerge support for any platform-related queries.

New Opportunities Section:

  • VIEW BOOK IT NOW LOADS: Find available Book It Now loads.

  • GET STARTED: Set up Lane Alerts.

  • VIEW OPEN SPOT LOADS: See all available spot loads.


How to Find Your Next Load

The Find Your Next Load search box allows you to filter and search for available loads based on the following criteria:

  1. Origin and Destination:

    • Enter the city and state for both Origin and Destination, or just select the state.

    • Deadhead Radius: Set your preferred deadhead distance by using the blue circle slider.

  2. Equipment Type:

    • Select one or more types of equipment you have available.

  3. Pickup Date:

    • Choose a specific date or date range using the calendar.

After applying your filters, click SEARCH to find the available loads.
