How to Manage your Address Book

The Address Book is where you can store locations that you ship to or from regularly. Adding locations to your Address Book allows you to build loads more easily, especially when it comes to consistent lanes that you run. Locations can be added either individually or uploaded in bulk.


  1. Click the Settings gear icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

  2. ​Select Address Book from the list.

From here, you can manage any locations in a few ways:

Adding an Individual Location

To add a single location to your Address Book:

  1. Click Create Location on the right hand side of the screen.

  2. Fill in the Contact Info, Location, and FTL/VPTL Defaults (optional)

  3. Location: When adding an address to your location, you have the option of either choosing the address from the auto-fill options, or click Enter Address Manually if your address is not available

  4. FTL/VPTL Defaults drop down menu to enter more information about the location.

    1. None of the fields are required, however if the facility has consistent hours and operational requirements, entering this information will save time the next time you build a quote with this address.

    2. Click the Appointment Type drop down menu for the Pick up defaults section or Dropoff defaults depending on if this facility is an outbound or inbound location. Select one of the options from the drop down menu. You can also select Partner to schedule if the carrier will be responsible for scheduling their own appointment. Click SAVE once you have entered all of the information you want to include.


Bulk Uploading Locations to your Address Book

You can add multiple locations to your Address Book at once, either in the Address Book itself on the upper right hand side of the screen, or from anywhere in the platform.

  1. Click CREATE + in the upper left hand corner of the screen.​

  2. Select Bulk Upload > Locations

  3. Get started by downloading the bulk upload template and populating the required fields:

    1. Company Name

    2. Address Line 1

    3. City

    4. State

    5. Postal Code

    6. Pick Appointment Required

    7. Drop Appointment Required

    8. Contact Name

    9. Contact Phone Number

    10. Note: You are able to use Canadian Postal Codes and cities when filling out this form.​

  4. Once you have saved the spreadsheet with all of the addresses and information you would like to include, click Upload Template.

  5. The Address Book Bulk Upload tool will load. Click Upload data from file and choose the spreadsheet you just saved.

  6. Follow the prompts to confirm mapping

  7. Once mapping is complete, the tool will display any errors if available

  8. Once the bulk upload has occurred, you will receive any email confirming the number of successful or failed uploads.​

  9. You can now view the new addresses you uploaded by going back into the Address Book from the Settings tab.


Edit/Delete Existing Address Book Locations

To Edit or Delete an existing location, click the three dots next to the location


​From there, you can choose to edit or delete your location. Editing will bring up this page:

Note: If the location is attached to any existing Quote Templates, the system will display a yellow banner informing you that any changes to the location will make the same change to all associated templates
