Home Page

The home page is the first page you will see when you access the RFP portal. This will show all of the event tiles of the various events you have been invited to.

Event Tile Overview

  1. Bid Status: this is how you can easily tell if you have submitted your bid on an event

  2. Bid Name: this is the name of the event

  3. Bidding Dates: this is the dates the event is open to submit bids

  4. Lanes: this is the number of lanes available to bid on in the event

  5. Shipper: this is the Company hosting this event

  6. Timer: this is the timer until the bid opens; once the bid opens, it will change to “Response Time Remaining”

  7. Event Status: this is the status the event is in- each icon will turn blue when bidding opens, when bidding closes and then when awards are published to help easily follow the process

RFP Overview

  1. Bid Overview: this will show you the SCAC that you are bidding under (capacity providers can be invited under multiple SCAC codes to bid on events for different divisions of business), it will also show how many lanes you have bid on as well as a countdown to when the bidding closes

  2. RFP Checklist: a checklist of steps to submit your bid for the RFP. This will help you remember what part of the process you are in for each event you are invited to

    1. Register for the RFP Event: this should be automatically checked off, if you can see this page, you are a registered participant for the event

    2. Read RFP Details and download documents: click here to view details of the RFP, read the carrier letter and download any relevant documents to the event

    3. Download Lanes: click here to navigate to the lanes page where you can download the lanes to a spreadsheet

    4. Upload your bid response: click here to upload your bid response once you have filled out the spreadsheet downloaded in the download lanes step

RFP Details

  1. Bid Overview: this will show you the SCAC that you are bidding under (capacity providers can be invited under multiple SCAC codes to bid on events for different divisions of business), it will also show how many lanes you have bid on as well as a countdown to when the bidding closes

  2. Event Details: this will show you the Event name, Shipper Name, Bidding dates, Contract dates and the number of lanes in the event

  3. RFP Instructions: this is where the details about this specific event will be found, these details are usually also sent out in a carrier letter, but this section could be more detailed than the initial carrier letter. Event dates will be found here as well as instructions such as specific ways to bid on your customer’s event.

    1. Contact Emerge RFP Support: click this link to fill out a ticket form to reach the Emerge Support team for in depth assistance with the RFP portal

    2. Show More: click this to show the full details within the RFP Instructions section

  4. Documents: this is where you will find any documents your shipper has attached that may be filled with necessary information to bid in the event

Lanes

  1. Bid Overview: this will show you the SCAC that you are bidding under (capacity providers can be invited under multiple SCAC codes to bid on events for different divisions of business), it will also show how many lanes you have bid on as well as a countdown to when the bidding closes

  2. Submit Your Bid Response: you can easily submit your bid response by choosing the dark blue button in this section

  3. Search: you can search the lanes with this search feature to see the lane details or your bid response/ feedback if you have already uploaded your bid

  4. Download Lanes: click this button to download the lanes spreadsheet to fill out, save and submit

  5. Upload Response: click here to upload your bid response. You can also choose to upload by choosing the blue Submit Bid Response button in section 2

  6. Lanes: this is where you can see the lane details, bid feedback (if your customer has it turned on), your bid rate and volume as well as all lane details.
