After accepting a tender, a shipper will expect that you update the status of a shipment. The status of the shipment will update with tracking updates either automatically or manually.

1. Proceed to the MANAGE tab.

2. Choose Shipments.

3. Choose the shipment you want to update.

4. Choose shipment to update the tracking method.

Note: check out this article on how to assign tracking and the different methods you can choose. If you choose an automatic tracking method, all parts will update once the tracking begins 90 minutes prior to the scheduled pick up appointment. If you choose manual tracking, we ask that you update at least two times per day while in transit.

5. Scroll to the Itinerary section

6. Choose the blue pencil to the left of the ETA section to update the ETA to shipper.

7. Update the date and time and click SUBMIT.

Note: All times must be entered in 24 Hour Time.

8. Repeat steps 6 & 7 to update the Actual Arrival and Actual Departure for the shipper and then also the ETA, Actual Arrival and Actual Departure for delivery.

Note: Adding Actual Arrival will move the status to AT SHIPPER. Adding Actual Departure time will move the shipment to IN-TRANSIT. Adding Actual Arrival under the "STOP 2 DROP" section will move the shipment to AT CONSIGNEE and adding the Actual Departure will move the shipment to DELIVERED.

2. How to Update Truck Location While In-Transit

1. If you chose Manual Tracking, you will want to make sure that you UPDATE TRUCK LOCATION multiple times per day while the shipment is IN-TRANSIT to remain compliant with the shipper's request for tracking.

2. Proceed to the shipment you want to update following steps 1-3 above.

3. Click UPDATE TRUCK LOCATION in the top right corner.

4. Enter the Current Location by searching the City & State or Zip Code of truck location. Click Save.

5. Each time you UPDATE TRUCK LOCATION it will add a point to the map.
