With Lane Alerts, you can create lanes to be notified when a shipper in Emerge is quoting a similar lane and is looking for new partners!

Note: If one person in your company is already a partner to a shipper, no other person in your company will be able to provide rates to that shipper via the lane alert tool. This is to avoid any internal conflicts and protect both parties.

1. How to Create a Lane Alert

Create a Lane Alert by clicking on the Lane Alert tab on the navigation panel.

1. Click the blue CREATE LANE ALERT button on the right-hand side of the screen.

2. Enter in the Origin Deadhead radius

3. Enter in the Origin Location

a. Any destination (truck will deliver anywhere)

b. City/State + Radius (to enter in a specific location)

c. Multiple Destinations (enter in a combination of different cities or states)

4. Enter the Destination Deadhead radius

5. Enter the Destination Location

a. Any destination (truck will deliver anywhere)

b. City/State + Radius (to enter in a specific location)

c. Multiple Destinations (enter in a combination of different cities or states)

6. Select the Equipment Type from the drop-down menu

7. Press SAVE!

2. How to Create a Lane Alert when Searching for a Load

1. From the SOURCE tab enter the details of the lane in the search fields

2. Once you have entered the details in the search field, you will notice that NOTIFY ME OF FUTURE MATCHES is visible to select.

3. Once selected, you will be given the option to save the search as a lane alert

3. How to Create a Lane Alert when Submitting a Bid

Create a Lane Alert when submitting a bid by selecting the SOURCE tab on the navigation panel.

Select the lane you are looking for to expand it to view the lane details

View the lane details here and select the SUBMIT BID button or VIEW DETAILS

Select this box to be notified when a load is available that matches the lane of this bid.

4. Once you submit the bid, navigate to the LANES tab to view the new lane created

4. Lane Alert Notification Email

If a shipper posts a load that matches your lane, you will receive an email notification (shown below).

To view the information, click the VIEW LOAD DETAILS button.

5. Responding to the Lane Alert

Once VIEW LOAD DETAILS has been clicked, you can respond to the quote that is now in your SOURCE tab. Please note that if this is your first time bidding in the SOURCE tab, you will be required to fill out our Partner Agreement by clicking JOIN.
